Environmental Protection Agency’s Rules Establishing Procedures for Issuing Water Loans from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 Funds

Environmental Protection Agency's Rules Establishing Procedures for Issuing Water Loans from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 Funds.

The Environmental Protection Agency adopted four rules establishing the procedures for issuing low interest, zero interest and principal forgiveness loans for wastewater and drinking water systems. These loans would use funds received from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The state has approximately $177.2 million for assistance in wastewater projects and $79.5 million in drinking water projects from the ARRA.  For more information regarding Illinois Environmental Protection Agency's State Revolving Loan Fund you can go to their website at http://www.epa.state.il.us/water/financial-assistance/economic-stimulus/index.html.
