"Illinois City Manager/Administrator Outreach Program"
A Voluntary Program in Partnership With the Illinois Municipal League
Over the past several years, the Illinois Municipal League’s Statewide Managers Committee in conjunction with the Illinois City Managers Association and the IML have been developing a technical resource initiative. This initiative is intended to provide Illinois Municipalities an option of limited technical resources through a voluntary pool of professional managers/administrators. This section of the IML web site hosts this initiative which is intended to provide technical resources to Illinois Municipalities that do not employ a Chief Administrative Officer such as a City Manager or Administrator.
To use this resource pool, simply go to the Topics or Category area, follow the links to your area of interest and you will be linked to one or more professional City Managers/Administrators in Illinois. Basic demographic and statistical information concerning the Community in which the professional manager/administrator serves in is also listed. Those individuals that you are linked to have voluntarily committed to acting as a limited resource to assist local officials that do not have a professional manager or administrator working in their organization. You can expect that any volunteer that you contact to be responsive in providing you with limited technical information, example materials etc. Please feel free to utilize this resource pool to assist you in the management of your City or Village.
