GASB Proposal Would Enhance Disclosure Requirements for Governmental Pension Plans The GASB today issued a proposal that would bring current pension disclosure requirements for governments and governmental pension plans into line with those recently issued for other post-employment benefits, or OPEB. FCC Adopts Cable Franchise Order Earlier this afternoon, the FCC adopted the cable franchise order by a vote of 3-2 (Copps and Adelstein voted against the order). NLC, along with national coalition partners are meeting later this week to evaluate options for challenging the order. Full Story
